Rigs of Two Important Figures in Mexican History: Rigoberta Menchú and César Chávez

This project consists of 3D rigs of two prominent historical figures, Rigoberta Menchú and César Chávez, created to be part of educational content using augmented reality.

The models were developed using a combination of software:

Blender for sculpting the high-resolution details.
Maya for retopology and rigging, focusing on the creation of a functional skeleton.
Substance Painter for detailed and realistic texturing.
The rigs were designed to depict the figures from the shoulders up, emulating a museum sculpture style. The detailed rigging allows for expressive movement within the scope of an AR experience, while the monochrome aesthetic gives a timeless, artistic touch.

This project aims to bring historical figures to life in an interactive format, enriching educational experiences with modern technology.
